Nothing makes me smile more than stuff like this…

Spontaneity is the future I swear, nothing puts a smile in the mind like something completely unexpected, whether it be a thoughtful gesture for a friend when they are ill or a carefully considered gift for no reason other than to make someone happy.

Especially somewhere like in London where everyone keeps their heads down and just goes about their own business, something like these miniature workmen totally brightens up an otherwise mundane day.

Must Be Something In The Name

I came across the design blog of a graphic designer the other day, who happened to also have possibly the best first name in the world, Sean. His full name is Sean Cornell, and he too has a rather fantastic design blog that can be found here at www.seancornell.wordpress.com, he has kindly written a post there about my blog, and seeing as it is my intention to create an online referencing haven, I would be foolish to not mention Sean’s blog.

‘It’s Nice That’ Blog

I’ve decided to perhaps try and help out other designers by posting links to interesting design blogs/websites that I stumble upon, we all know what its like when you are looking for references to help the creative juices flow, almost a design laxative if you dont mind the odd pharmaceutical analogy!

Heres one I came across recently, called ‘It’s Nice That’, it was launched in 2007 by graphic designers Will Hudson and Jez Burrows, hoping to “document and inspire creative talent’.

Definately one to take a peek at, some really interesting content and extremely easy to navigate and explore!
